Donate to Canadian Athletes, hmmm

I just noticed on TSN a Canadian sports channel, asking/begging viewers to donate to National level Canadian athletes.

Wow, if this were a business, it would be can you please complete the professional development of our workers so they can become better workers?

Private companies, government organizations, civil/City, and provincial and federal governments invest in their employees.

Do we Canadians especially our governments at all three levels: City, provincial, and federal invest in our athletes from age 12 all the way up to 25? No.

Why should our elite athletes, who dedicate their lives to their sport, have to beg for sponsors and public funding to support their daily 2 a day training sessions for World championships, Olympics, or National championships?

The Canadian governments: City and provincial and federal have an opportunity to make it right with all the lotto and gambling through federal and provincial and local gambling establishments online and in person, that is involved in so-called amateur sports which is not given back to these elite athletes.

Show transparency, every single cent! The Canadian public and every parent wants to understand and know!

All the gambling that is supposed to go to all these amateur sports athletes and not into the pockets of so-called individuals and indirectly to politicians that are in charge of the amateur sports.

Every single dollar should show where are the dollars going to when it comes to bingos and casinos. Every single cent, if not it is corrupt.

If this money is delegated to our Elite athletes and every other athlete connected to dollars that are donated and gambled to our athletes, then we will have a tremendous amount of elite athletes feeding into the international level in all sports.

These elite athletes, with their potential to bring excitement and pride to our nation, deserve our support. Their ultimate goal is to make Canada proud.
