The Israeli NSO Group Pegasus Cellphone Spyware

Reading through an amazing outstanding, informative book, "The Palestine Lab."

The author has an outstanding section on Israel's NSO Pegasus spyware.

This spyware is almost equivalent to NSA spyware, just an easy click on a link via text message and the phone is infected, and the organization that has sent the infected link has full access to your phone.

The spy ware can listen to voice messages, read text messages. View all the work done on the cell phone including website searches and even documents and pictures and videos on the cell phone, and in the cloud, and all activity on the phone, including having access to the phone, camera and microphone.

It's absolutely profound how unethical companies and organizations such as police services can get unauthorized access into anyone's private life.

Journalist, intellectuals, authors, teachers, professors, and protesters that are critical to a specific government policy or organization are usually attacked by such fake links that infect an individual's cell phone with this spyware.

To name a few countries that have purchase Pegasus spyware from Israel. Most notably is Saudi Arabia that have executed a few journalists that were critical to that regime's government. Mexico and the police organizations within Mexico use Pegasus to watch for any individuals that are against the political regime or political policies. The targets of the spyware in Mexico are usually journalists, teachers, and professors that are critical of government policies. Mexico's government and police services argue their main concern is to spy upon the drug cartels. UAE especially disgruntled individuals that are not happy with the regime. Hungry and Morocco have targeted business owners, teachers, professors, and journalists. Rwanda, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan all use Pegasus to know what their citizens are doing. Especially any opposition party members, journalists, intellectuals and anyone that is critical of those regimes. India is another country that uses Pegasus spyware throughout their country, including the Muslims of Kashmir. And of course Israel uses Pegasus not only targeting Palestinians in and outside the country, but also their own citizens and other citizens throughout the world, including individuals in USA and Britain.

Sadly, many of these individuals that have been spied upon by these regimes, due to this, Israeli spyware, have been executed or arrested and are in jail for multiple years including life sentences.

In some cases victims of the spyware have been assassinated by these regimes and police services.
