3 Potential Reasons Why Major Powers Are Drawn Into A Nuclear Conflict In The Middle East

Conflict involving Israel vs Iran could spiral out of control due to one of those countries believing there is an existential threat if one country is losing a war. The use of chemical and nuclear weapons maybe used with major powers intervening with overwhelming military force with mass civilian killings, leading to a possible nuclear exchange.

The Middle East is an oil rich region where major powers have interests including the U.S., Russia, China, E.U., India, Pakistan, and all the middle powers including Israel.

Miscommunication always happens in wars

However, cyber-attacks on nuclear systems, power grids, communication networks, or military miscalculations could be catastrophic and major powers might see a nuclear strike as the only way to quickly stop the war or believe a quick decapitation of another country's government will "win the war" if conventional means fail.

Such use of nuclear weapons would be the start of a human annihilation of any human existence on the planet

At the moment, USA has a few military bases in Syria at specific oil facilities siphoning off oil and shipping to Israel, without the Syrian government approval. Clearly, there are vast energy reserves in the Middle East, which are crucial to Israeli and American economies, and of course to the rest of the world. If access to these oil reserves are diminished, a regional war with the inclusion of military coalitions, Israel as they have mentioned multiple times, would use all their weapons by "any means possible," and with the "no matter what" guaranteed military backing by the US, we could see the use of nuclear weapons as a last resort to maintain their global control.

Again, such use of nuclear weapons would result in the end of humanity.
