Aboard Air Force One, Trump was asked by Fox News whether all 10 to 15 countries would face tariffs this coming Wednesday. He responded, "No, I don't know where you heard that from."
When pressed on which countries would be affected, Trump stated, "All of them. All countries will be tariffed by us."
Itโs worth noting that tariffs are essentially taxes paid by American consumers, not foreign governments.
