America As Warfighters For Hegemony

“The rush of battle is a potent and often lethal addiction, for war is a drug.” ~ Chris Hedges, War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning
"We sent them to war. They come back different. And we don’t understand why.” ~ Sebastian Junger, Tribe
The video is mainly focused on the former radical far right Fox network commentator, now Secretary of Defense of the most powerful military in the world, discussing how most of America are warfighters and they are ready to fight against China?! Crazy, ridiculous, rhetorical, nonsensical talk, trying to scare or convince Asian leaders on the American military hegemonic power.
When you're sent to war, you come back deeply and permanently changed. It's a transformation so profound that most civilians and Politicians can't fully grasp it. People tend to see you through a lens of honour, duty, and sacrifice. There's also the modern image shaped by technology, you're seen as a blend of human and machine, operating with precision, control, and supported by artificial general intelligence.
But the truth is far more complicated. You witness, and sometimes take part in, acts of extreme violence that push you beyond what your mind and body can bear. The rush of combat can be intoxicating, and over time, war starts to feel like a drug. When you return, you're left carrying invisible wounds, flashbacks, hyper-vigilance, emotional numbness, restless nights, and a gnawing anxiety that won't let go. A traumatized warfighter.
