An Educated Canada

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Mandela

“Investing in education is not just the right choice, it is the smart choice, nations that prioritize learning build the strongest and most adaptable economies.” - Justin Trudeau

“Ignorance is not a virtue. It's not cool to not know what you're talking about.” - Barack Obama

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.” - Martin Luther King Jr.

“Canada’s success doesn’t rest in oil or timber or gold. It rests in the minds of its people.” - David Johnston, 28th Governor General of Canada

Canada is the most educated country in the OECD, with 63% of people between the ages of 18 and 64 having completed some kind of college education, including two or four-year degrees and vocational college programs. The United States, on the other hand, comes in lower, with roughly 46% of its people in the same age range having a college degree.

We Canadians encourage all our secondary (ages: 11 - 19) students, to attend, college/polytechnic University/comprehensive University/research University.

All our Canadian born and new Canadians understand that the more education you have, the better equipped our society will be, and much higher salaries and mobility domestically and internationally for them.

The Trump Administration has no idea of Canadians.
