Manufacturing Deep Political Division to Protect Authoritarian Power

When power is afraid of collapsing, it does more than just protect itself; it incites the populace against itself, causing chaos to spread to every aspect of daily life. This is the core of the tension strategy: a calculating, dark strategy for authority where fear serves as the currency of power. The ruling order promises that the masses will beg for their freedoms that are already ready for them by inciting violence and fostering division.

Even though the state is the one who sowed the terror, fear is weaponized, blame is shifted, and the public looks to the regime for protection. This is design, not madness. Police in America are directing demonstrators toward right-wing organizations with weapons. Provocation, a purposeful escalation of conflict that spreads throughout the country as racial hostility, is the goal rather than peacekeeping. Similarly, the COVID pandemic turned into a stage for manipulating fear, pitting neighbours against neighbours and vaccinated against unvaccinated. The goal was always division, diversion, and submission rather than justice or health.

The terrified elite, who are aware that no one will pay attention to the grip tightening around their necks as long as Americans are preoccupied with hating one another, benefit from these divisions rather than the majority of the population. Power silently and effortlessly strengthens itself in the burning fire of division as chaos turns into concealment.
