Trump's Malignant Narcissism and Deep-Seated Narcissistic Wounds

Dr. Harry Segal, a clinical psychologist, warns that President Donald Trumpโ€™s pattern of malignant narcissism and deep-seated narcissistic wounds, that produce rage and disorganized thinking, has shown up repeatedly on his public social media feed, where emotional outbursts and punitive threats appear as American government policy dictated by him. The whole world is watching this odd and bizarre behavior from a political leader of a country. Thank goodness there is only one on the world stage acting in such strange and bizarre childlike emotional fits, toward countries and other world leaders.

Segal points to instances where Trump has reacted to setbacks in ways that โ€œdonโ€™t make any sense politically or even cognitively,โ€ and those reactions have spilled onto Trump owned Truth Social, with posts that have included aggressive rhetoric and explicit threats of military action or punitive tariffs against other countries. It's almost as if the public and other world leaders feel sorry for the President because he's in some type of dreamland and believes he's some type of King from the 15th century.

Most recently, his Truth Social posts and announcements escalated into his emotional rage over an Ontario World Series advertisement featuring Ronald Reagan. Trump had a child temper tantrum on his Truth Social announcing 10% higher tariffs on Canadian goods. Very strange and bizarre behaviour and it's completely silent in the American Congress because they are afraid that he will cancel them from his Truth Social platform by telling his MEGA supporters not to vote for specific Republican senators or House of Representatives. It is definitely a strange and sad time in America, especially with a sad pathetic narcissistic wounded dementia president.

Segal and others say that when Trump experiences a loss, he becomes intensely defensive, demands absolute loyalty, and often doubles down publicly, turning what should be internal thoughts into public rage campaigns on his lame Truth Social - Twitter copy platform, a psychological dysfunctional pattern Segal sees as evidence of extreme fragility, from an 80-year-old man, showing severe mental impairment.
