Noose and Rhetoric Descending into Authoritarian Terror

The gas lighting language of the President of the United States of America on his Truth Social platform Donald Trump openly accused members of Congress of seditious behaviour punishable by death, branded them traitors who should be arrested and tried, and then amplified the threat by reposting a call to hang them in the manner George Washington supposedly would.
Clearly, there is a mental health concern with Trump. This language and behaviour is distorted and dangerous for the American society.
His earlier statement that General Mark Milley should be executed for ensuring a legitimate transfer of power following the 2020 election is rehashed by this outburst, which is part of a terrifying pattern. By frequently calling for execution due to alleged disloyalty Trump is not just expressing his anger; he is purposefully normalizing a social faux pas that political opposition is tantamount to treason and that treason deserves the noose, such rhetoric is descending into authoritarian terror.
