Bombed Out Ash

In the halls of geopolitical power, hate is an elegant statistic. It is the clinical click of a drone piloted from Nevada, threats of embargo and economic sanctions, a planned orchestrated press brief playing the blame game and cheerfully showcasing targeted assassinations and lethal air strikes. To the unipolar power, the Middle East is just a grid of fragile and/or failed states and petrochemical gold to be managed with a cold, threatening air force to own and control the flow of 40% of the global exports.

In the Oval Office, for 73 years, hate is visceral to the Persians of western Asia. The administration smell scorched broken ash concrete in Levant, specifically Gaza and burning oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The Unipolar and its multi-billion dollar funded arm of the land expanding Israeli proxy have attacked Iran to cause a failed state and to control the flow of the Persian oil away from China. For the Persians, the society has a deep feeling of an existential threat equal to the Palestinians of Gaza.

It is the mother or father clawing through grey ash rubble of a school for their child, and the Iranian soldier weaponizing a slingshot to unite a bombed nation against a unipolar Goliath and its highly weaponized proxy.

The unipolar loathes the Persian defiance. Most of western Asia fears their erasure. Between them, hate is a structural fire, burning the innocent to warm the cold machinery of unipolar power.
