My grandparents and parents lived and felt dehumanization... psychological dehumanization of a people makes them seem less than human and not worthy of humane treatment...
My siblings had a tremendous hate and anger toward this dehumanization against our parents and grandparents, Métis, and Cree families... we were willing to rebel against the racism and discrimination.
Mom and Dad said to us kids...
Learn from these negative words and actions that try to make us scapegoats, these negative attitudes, these perceptions of us... you can reject such negative actions, negative reactions, and negative ideas of you as a person, we are people, successful people in all areas of society.
Attaining and increasing our education reduces the racism and discrimination, the dehumanization, and strengthens our family, exponentially.
