It would be almost politically suicidal for members of Congress to espouse a balanced position between Israel and Palestine, to suggest that Israel comply with international law or to speak in defense of justice or human rights for Palestinians. The Israel lobby is a group of wealthy, well-educated and very influential individual citizens from mainly United States and Britain.
The Israel lobby also consists of extremely wealthy organizations that advocate for Israel's interests in the United States and Britain.
These wealthy individuals and organizations lobby politicians in both countries and contribute to well over a billion dollars of campaign money, many of these individuals and organizations have a tight control over traditional media such as newspapers, magazines, News organizations, and and some individuals are elected political officials that all shape U.S. and British foreign policy.
Just some examples of the Israel lobby include the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), political action committees (PACs), political and economic think tanks, and traditional and social media advocacy groups.
These wealthy individuals and organizations secure their influence through lobbying and close deep State relationships in Britain and USA to support Israel with billions of dollars in military, technology, and sharing of global spy surveillance.
Most Israel lobbyist own property in Britain, USA, and Israel, including settlements in the West Bank, and they're hoping to have properties on the Mediterranean coastline of the Gaza strip, with no Palestinians in existence in their properties.
British and U.S. foreign policies are both in close deep collaboration with the Israeli foreign policy. Whatever the Israeli government does, it first notifies the British and American governments to get their approval and support prior to any Israeli military action.
The Israel lobby stifles Palestinian Homeland debate, and undermines peace in the Middle East, especially with the Palestinian plight and Iranian political and economic influence.
Overall, Israel being an "informal" extension of the USA as a 51st State is a hegemony outpost of the American Military Empire in the Middle East and it controls the majority of the world's oil resources.
