A durable end to Russia’s war in Ukraine seems distant, and the use of nuclear weapons by Russia in that conflict remains a serious possibility. In February 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to “suspend” the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START). In March, he announced the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. In June, Sergei Karaganov, an advisor to Putin, urged Moscow to consider launching limited nuclear strikes on Western Europe as a way to bring the war in Ukraine to a favorable conclusion. In October, Russia’s Duma voted to withdraw Moscow's ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, as the US Senate continued to refuse even to debate ratification. ~ Editor, John Mecklin

Many countries are at a crossroads with a possible looming regional War in the Middle East.

There is a tremendous push from the Israeli government, encouraging the United States Biden government to forego a regional war with Israel against Iran.

It's almost like a Roman Empire outpost in a far flung distant corner of the Empire and the small outpost is asking Rome for support to expand the Roman Empire into Persia.

The only problem is if Persia - Iran, with over 100 million people are attacked by Israel, what will other countries do?

The million dollar question is what will Russia do?

What will China do?

What will North Korea do?

What will Pakistan do?

Will the world economy which is so closely tied to oil, dip into a Great Depression?

When a country that has a military budget of over a trillion dollars.

Funding 750 American military bases throughout the world.

USA government funding of R&D is mainly focused on the military industrial complex - focused on making the best killing machines possible with artificial intelligence.

Such military focus ignores their domestic infrastructure, lack of education funds, growing social problems, as many American economists suggest, American cities are economically rotting due to majority of funding going to the military and funding proxy wars.

At the same time America and it's tiny military outpost - Israeli government are willing to humiliate World leaders - leaders of countries around the world, by assassinating with killer drones or bombings. Taunting and bullying world leaders to retaliate and be pulled into a regional War of complete destruction.

As history has been told of the downfall of many empires, eventually many countries rebel against an Empire.
