High Tariffs On Products From Asia

It doesn't make any sense to have such high tariffs against Asian countries.
You place tariffs on goods coming from Asia, and right away you find prices go up on things that you buy like electronics and clothes.
A tariff is a consumer cost which increases inflation which is a higher cost of goods and services without the common person's pay improving or increasing with inflationary costs.
To the ordinary consumer in America or Canada, this could mean your weekly shopping food visit will cost more, the new cell phone with all the bells and whistles that you wish to buy would cost much higher, and even the price of a vehicle will be higher since many components are manufactured in Asia. Last year there was a supply chain issue with one small computer chip manufactured in Asia for all the North American vehicles; there were so many North American vehicles that could not be sold and were dormant on the car lots because they could not be sold due to that one small computer chip missing.
Businesses that rely on overseas inputs, for instance, semiconductors or steel, have their prices going up, making it harder for you to compete, or even potentially higher for the products they produce in the USA.
Asian nations retaliate by applying their own tariffs on your exports, for example, agricultural products or cars. Your exporters and farmers now have much greater difficulty marketing their products to valuable Asian markets, hurting those businesses and employees.
You have supply chains running through Asia, and already these high tariffs are slowing down by 50% or less. The higher cost of importing goods drives businesses to search for other, frequently more expensive or less productive, means to obtain what they require. That is causing backlogs in the supply chain today.
You could experience delays to receive products, or some goods may become unavailable. As I mentioned before about how Chinese tariffs impacted electronics and automobile manufacturing in past trade wars, potentially leading to delay or extra cost for products you'd like to buy, and these issues are returning. The majority of economists anticipate this deceleration of the supply chain due to the tariff cost leading to a gigantic recession in North America.
Thank you Trump and you're nonsensical Administration.
